Key Outcome :
  • Student will be able to read and understand typical expressions and sentences written in hiragana, katakana, and basic kanji
  • Listen and comprehend conversations about topics regularly encountered in daily life and classroom situations
  • Student can appear for JLPT N5 level

Eligibility Criteria :
  • Students must clear “Foundation Course” or an equivalent test / interview

90 -120 minutes (2 classes / week)

Course Outline :
  • Recap Foundation Course
  • Reading, and writing of Japanese scripts- Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji (110 characters) General day to day vocabulary (~800 words)
  • Basic grammar* ( includes usage of Tenses, Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs & Adjectives)
  • Reading, listening, writing and speaking practice
Program Outline :
  • Regular handouts and assignments provided
  • Regular practice expected from the students
  • Regular short tests will be conducted to measure performance
